I’m Pete and alongside my wife Debi, we’ve created Pete’s Meat BBQ! I’ve always had a love of cooking and good food. In 2015 I started doing BBQ Competitions and had so much fun doing it. We have many awards from our Competitions! It started to be a dream for me to have my own restaurant or food truck, and in 2023 my dream has become a reality!

I’ve been cooking for competitions and friends and family for many years. I’ve catered many weddings of friends, and now I’m sharing my cooking with our greater Reno/Sparks Community!

I love the texas-style bbq, and wanted to bring that style barbecue to our community! What sets texas-style apart from others is the simplicity of good meat. All it needs is salt, pepper and smoke!
